Happy Saturday!

Good morning everyone!

I am excited as:
1. The new catalogue is finally upon us and my order will hopefully be winging its way to me soon! and...

2. My craft class is upon us! I may be demoing in it as you read this.

SO this is my first proper class outside of my house, so I have hired a classroom from my local church and am hoping to do this every 1st Saturday of the month (just not in July as I will be a stall holder at Danson Park in Bexleyheath and will be doing make and takes there).

I did not want to post this earlier as didn't want to spoil the surprise of what cards we were going to make, but as I should be at my event it should be safe to share now!

So I decided for our class that they would make 3 cards and a 3D project. The sets I used were the Delightful Daisy Suite and Pick a Pattern Suite, along with the wood crate framelit.

Above are the first cards that we are making, it will be a choice of either one and if there is enough time then they can do the other card.

Both of these cards use the Pieces & Patterns stamp set, Pick a Pattern DSP and Woodland embossing folder.

With these cards I have shown that this stamp set and DSP can be used for the recipient either being male or female, and it is just the colour of the cardstock that determines it, thus showing how versatile the stamp set is! To be honest I was not sure about this stamp set, I liked it but did not know what to do with it, and after trawling pinterest still was unsure but got it in my preorder anyways. However, now that this idea came to me I now love the set as I have come up with so many more ideas, and it is a perfect set for males cards that are, in my opinion, always hard to make.

Right so my next card is using the same stamp set but with a different page of the same packet of DSP.

I love it as it makes a brilliant child's card, need I say more?!

Here is my final card, and this was made with the Daisy Punch, Daisy Delight stamp set and Delightful Daisy DSP.

I would like to say thank you to kingsonpaddington.blogspot.com (Carolyn King) as it was her card that gave me the idea for this.

And my 3D project also uses the Daisy stamp set and Punch.

It also makes use of the new Wood Crate framelit, new Wood Textures DSP and the new double stitched Daffodil Delight ribbon.

It was quite easy to make but looks so effective, instead of using the daisy punch to make daisies I used it to make Gerberas.

 Pretty aren't they?

Well I hoped you liked my items from todays blog and if are local and would like to attend one of my classes to make some of these items then just head over to my classes tab near the top of this page.

For all items used please see below table and thank you for taking the time to read and hopefully I will see you again soon!

Thanks

Sarah xx
