Hugs from Shelli Paper Pumpkin Kit

Hugs from Shelli Paper Pumpkin Kit

One of Stampin’ Up!’s goals is to surprise and delight you with fun, new creative experiences. And I  think you’re going to absolutely love what SU have up their sleeve this spring. Shelli Gardner, board chair and cofounder of Stampin’ Up!, has partnered with Paper Pumpkin to create a limited edition, nature-focused, Shelli-inspired kit.

Though Paper Pumpkin isn’t currently offered outside of North America, Stampin' Up! wanted to share this very special kit with everyone. And because the global markets have long been curious about the Paper Pumpkin program, they thought we would love to have this unique opportunity to see what it’s all about.

The look and feel of this kit is all Shelli. It’s elegant and feminine, and so full of springtime details that you’ll probably just want to take a walk, breathe in the fresh air, and then go home and stamp every card in the kit. And the box it comes in? They predict that you’ll be keeping it . . . like . . . forever. Wait and see.

Stampin' Up! Onstage 2019 and New Annual Catalogue

Good evening all!
I am sorry it has been awhile but have recently attended Stampin’ Up! Onstage 2019 in Telford over the weekend and have got back into the blogging mood! The reason is I have so much to share with you all that I cannot just keep it to myself!

Firstly the new catalogue is amazing! There are loads of new products to choose from amongst some carry over items that just did so well in this catty it had to be carried over.

Also there is a slightly different layout to the new catty, where you can see bundles (stamps and coordinating dies/punches) at the beginning and then you can see stamps individually, but also if you like a whole collection, such as the stamps, dies/punch, embellishments, DSP then you have the opportunity to purchase the whole suite for a single price and one item code, which is very, very handy and brilliant! Think I better set up an overdraft on my bank account, eek!! Lol.

The new catty will be released on 1st June 2019 so if you would like a catalogue then email me or leave me a message with your name and address to get on my waiting list and as soon as they are available they will be sent to you!

Have you tried out the new rubber cling stamps by SU? They are so much better than the original clear mount rubber stamps as you can finally stick the sticker on the back of the stamp and it clings to your acrylic block or stamparatus rather than using glue to keep it on! Wahoo!

OMG and have you seen the new storage options SU have come up with?
They have storage for your Stampin’ Blends, the new ink pads and any other SU embellishments you would like to store away and it can be arranged however you would like!

I already have some for my Stampin' Blends...

ARE YOU AN AVID CRAFTER?

Jems February Blog Hop - Celebrating Love

Good morning everyone!

It has been awhile since I have posted on my blog but I am hoping that getting back on track with this month's blog hop will help sort that out!

So this month's hop is all about Celebrating Love so one of my first things from the SU catty I thought about using is the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. I love this paper as it is colourful and vibrant and has gorgeous gold foiling running through it!

A sentiment to go with this was from the Sale-A-Bration section called Happy Wishes clear mount stamp set, it is available for free with a qualifying order over £90. I really wanted to use this stamp set so that I could use my new Stampin' Blends Markers to colour in the 'Happy' stamp. I was not going to get these markers as I do have another brand of markers to use but my mum recently purchased them and I used hers and found they were so much easier to use in terms of colours working together and blending easy with each other and not overwelmed with the amount of different colours available. Also they one side are very fine so are perfect for intricate colouring and the colour lifter can take away colour if you make a mistake or want to lighten a certain section.

So these are the cards I have made with the DSP and free stamps. As you can see from the pictures I have used a heart stamp which is available from the Heart Happiness Photopolymer Stamp Set. This stamp set I got free from the November Stampin' Up! convention which is only available for SU demos so of course for Valentines I had to use that as well and also again I could use my Stampin' Blend markers to colour them in!

At the moment if you join as a demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration then you can purchase £130 worth of items for £99, along with the choice of TWO additional stamp sets for your kit—any stamp set, any price.

Just click on the JOIN NOW button at the top of this page.

Anyways that is that from me for now if you like any of my creations feel free to Copy and Share and hope you visit again soon!

The next blog is by Uma and I am sure she will not disappoint with her lovely creations for this month's hop so enjoy!!!!

Jem's Blog Hop!

Back to the beginning

Good morning everyone!!!

It is Jem's Blog Hop day today, the theme of this month's one is 'You are my Sunshine'.
You may have arrived here from Julie's blog or if you went backwards through the hops then hello from Amanda's blog!

Today I have chosen to use the Moon Baby stamp set, the Labeler Alphabet stamps and the Sunshine Wishes thinlits.

To begin with this was a really difficult theme for me to come up with a card, I knew I wanted to use the Sunshine thinlet but had no idea what to do with it, I am not a really gushy person so the notion of designing a card for my husband using them words made me feel sick, ha ha maybe not that bad but I was like no.

So I comtemplated some more and realised that everytime I said sunshine I thought of the song lyrics 'You are my Sunshine, you make me happy, when skies are grey' (I remember hearing this song years ago when I was a child on a muppets video called Gonzo's weird stuff, it WAS weird so maybe that is why it is stuck in my mind!). From that I came up with the below card:

I first of all stamped the baby with the umbrella using daffodil delight ink onto whisper white card, masked it off using a post it note then sponged on Basic Grey at the top along with Smokey Slate afterwards working my way down the card, at the bottom I sponged on Soft Sky just to give it a subtle colour. Also sponged a bit of Whisper White over top of the grey to give the effect of clouds, I then coloured in the baby image with watercolour pencils.

I sponged some Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango onto cardstock and then cut it out with the Sunshine thinlit, but you could just cut it out of Tangerine Tango or Pumpkin Pie cardstock. I used the Labeler Aphabet stamp set with Basic Grey to do the sentiment, and Finally, just mounted the card onto Daffodil Delight cardstock!

Hope you like the card, and for more ideas on Sunshine theme just go to the next blog!

Happy Sunday, oh wait it's Monday tomorrow...

Happy Sunday, oh wait it's Monday tomorrow... it is not so happy Sunday as I have work tomorrow 😧 but luckily my seven day week is not until the following week so at least I have a weekend coming up, phew!

So this Saturday just gone I did a craft stall at the Dicken's festival in Rochester, Medway that is only 10 minutes from home which makes it handy for my hubby to give me a hand with unloading the boxes and then he can either catch the bus home or walk it depending upon the weather, as it may be a 10 min drive but it's about a 40 minute walk!

So here was my craft stall:

My husband, Glen, was the one who came up with the idea of having the lights in the crates and he put them in for me too, which shows he really does help a lot when it comes to my crafting. The crates are from Hobbycraft and the lights are from Amazon.

And this is another pic of the stall and my 20 month old son who was as good as gold during the setup and takedown of my stall, unfortunately I couldn't keep him with me for the whole day as it would have been too boring for him!

One of the things, besides my cards, I was selling on my stall was the Stampin' Up! Love Today planner! It is brilliant, I received mine the other day and have already started using it, here is a close up of it:

It is gorgeous and you can start it any time of the year. You can also purchase a refill after the year is through to replenish your pages, what more could you ask for.
If you would like to order yours then just click below and go to check out!

Love Today Planner

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog today, and I have now added all my future classes to the CLASSES tab so please feel free to check it out and hopefully I will see you there.

Thanks!
