Christmas tags for my stall!

Hello everyone!

Today's post is about tags! 😊

So the following tags are made with the Holly Jolly Layers stamps and the Warmth and Cheer Designer Series Papers. I love the papers as they give a nice homely and comforting feel like a warm fire in a cosy cottage or a pub!

Using the above items I made the below tags, and I just love the look of them especially using kraft card for the tag bases. The tags themselves were cut with a Bigz die but this is no longer available from Stampin' Up!. I used Real Red for the stamped label, and the string is Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Basic Black twine. The red and green twine comes in a pack of three with gold and I love every one of them as they are perfect for christmas right now!

Also using the bigz dies I made some more tags but this time with the other tag that gets cut out at the same time as the above tag bases, which saves time and makes it that more quicker to make lots and lots of tags!

I used the cookie cutter bundle for this tag and the Oh What Fun photopolymer stamp set. The cookie cutter stamps are such fun to craft with and the punch makes it easy to cut out but with me I had to fussy cut the antlers on the deer I just could not leave them as they were, don't ask me why I just couldn't!

So these are the tags I made below with the above set, the gingerbread men I stamped in crumb cake and the teddy bears I stamped in soft suede. The reindeer I stamped in black on crumb cake cardstock and the santa I stamped in black ink onto whisper white cardstock and coloured in with the Real red and basic black stampin markers and clear wink of stella. You cannot see in this picture but the wink of stella really makes the santa sparkle!

That is my tags for now, I hope you like them and if you would like to purchase them then they will be available on my stall at the Casino Rooms in Rochester, Medway on the Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December! Hopefully I will see you there. Or alternatively you can make them yourself with the product list below, just click on the item and it will take you to my online shop.

Thank you for reading 😊

Autumn/Winter catalogue Jems Blog Hop

Good morning everyone!

Hope you have enjoyed reading through everyone's blogs so far regarding the new products. I love this catalogue especially the halloween products but have not had enough money to stretch to them... yet! So for my blog I will be using christmas products from the new catalogue.

So I loooove the new Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, it gives a really deep impression and looks just like a knitted jumper! But when using the embossing folder through your die cutting machine make sure you spritz the card with a light covering of water so that the card does not rip as the folder is so thick and detailed.

I used Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green cardstock for the below cards.

For the gingerbread men and eskimo I used the Cookie Cutter Christmas photopolymer bundle, this includes the stamp set and the paper punch.

The sentiment is from theWrapped in Warmth clear mount stamp set, which just goes with the whole nice and cozy feel of the cards.

And last of all I embellished the cards with gold metallic twine and some gold metallic thread.

My husband has also decided to give cardmaking a go and has made some z-fold cards, even I have not made them type of cards yet!

He used the Merry Medley wood mount stamp for the background and then he used the santa body from my Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and punch bundle and for the head and hat he used the Jolly Friends photopolymer bundle, which includes the stamps and a paper punch, which can be seen in the image below.

The slightly bigger head on the body gives a slight humerous feel to the card which is what he was going for as he thinks he is a bit of a comedian sometimes! lol.
